SVMIC has partnered with MedRisk® to provide online risk management courses. MedRisk® has been active in the risk management field since 1986, assisting physicians, dentists, nurses, allied health team members, insurers, and hospital administrators in their efforts to identity and manage the liability risks inherent in caring for patients in a complex environment.

About SVMIC Education

State Volunteer Mutual Insurance Company welcomes our policyholders to this online education site. SVMIC is dedicated to providing healthcare professionals with convenient access to continuing education. Online continuing education provides "anytime, anywhere," access to risk management courses that aid the healthcare professional in avoiding liability exposure and improving patient safety.

The only Medrisk courses that will qualify for your SVMIC premium credit are Risk Management Rounds: Ambulatory Care, Second Edition and Risk Management Essentials for Physicians, 2nd Edition, Part II.  Courses that qualified in previous years will not qualify for the premium credit in 2011, but will still earn you CME credit.
